We’ve found Gypsona bandages to be of far superior quality to other & non-Specialist brands we’ve worked with. They are a lower cost alternative for creating field and lab casts. The work time is similar to Specialist – slow enough to allow time to work with it, but fast enough to be efficient. The primary difference we’ve noted between Gypsona and Specialist is that the Gypsona bandages seem to have a bit less plaster in the gauze than Specialist, but substantially more than some other inexpensive brands we’ve tried.
